Northwell Health has officially expanded its footprint on Long Island with the opening of a new Women’s Multispecialty Center in Manorville. This 10,000-square-foot facility is designed to provide a “one-stop-shop” for women’s healthcare, reducing the need for patients to travel to multiple locations for different specialists.
Specialized Services at Manorville
The new facility brings together a diverse range of board-certified specialists under one roof, including:
- Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN): Routine wellness exams, prenatal care, and specialized gynecological surgery.
- Maternal-Fetal Medicine: High-risk pregnancy support and advanced ultrasound imaging.
- Urogynocology: Treatment for pelvic floor disorders and bladder health.
- Cardiology: Gender-specific heart health screenings and management.
- Specialized Imaging: On-site access to mammography, bone density (DEXA) scans, and pelvic ultrasounds.
Strategic Location & Patient Experience
Located at 101 Manorville Court, the center aims to serve the growing populations of eastern Suffolk County. By integrating these services, Northwell is tackling “healthcare fragmentation”—ensuring that a patient’s cardiologist and OB/GYN can collaborate in real-time on a shared electronic medical record.
Emtec Consulting Engineers Provides MEP Engineering Services
This project involved the MEP/FP/FA core and shell designs for a new two-story medical office building with a total square footage of approximately 20,000 sq. ft. Emtec’s services include the necessary design documents for the MEP/FP/FA system required to obtain a building permit from the Town of Brookhaven. This project included provisions for two separate meters for both gas and electric, one for each floor.
