Funding Secured: $7.5M Construction Loan Greenlights Hicksville Apartments

A new era of transit-oriented living is taking shape just a half-mile from the Hicksville LIRR station. Developer Premiero Cherry LLC is transforming the lot at 33-37 West Cherry Street into a modern, 20-unit apartment community. Designed by BHC Architects, the $10 million project focuses on sustainability and convenience, featuring a fully electric infrastructure and high-end amenities like a rooftop deck, fitness center, and dedicated coworking space.

In an effort to support local residents, the development includes three workforce housing units offered at reduced rents. “Our goal is to create a community that offers convenience, sustainability, and quality of life,” said Ishmeet Singh of Premiero Cherry LLC.

The project is part of a broader effort by the Town of Oyster Bay to revitalize the downtown corridor. Construction is already underway, with the doors expected to open to new residents in the spring of 2027.

Emtec Consulting Engineers provided professional MEP/FP/FA on this project.
