Emtec Consulting Engineers provided professional engineering services for Kellenberg High School’s Firebird Center for Arts & Athletics. We designed a combination of multi-zone and single-zone systems supported by multiple VAV rooftop units with demand-control ventilation and energy recovery. The facility included a dance studio, indoor golf simulator, band, orchestra, and chorus rooms, a bowling alley, and a gymnasium. These were all carefully engineered to support diverse performance, athletic, and environmental requirements. Kellenberg Memorial High School is a private Roman Catholic high school located in Uniondale, New York, on Long Island.
