Emtec Consulting Engineers was involved with the replacement of five of the existing steam absorbers ranging from 275 to 500 tons. As well as the expansion of multiple switch rooms, interior renovations of office space and upgrades to the fire alarm systems on multiple floors. This building is a 12 story, 290,000 sf telephone building. Emtec formulated a comprehensive plan for the systematic replacement of components over a three year period.
